Chrystal was born in Afton, Wyo.  A small rural town with plenty of space to roam and allow her imagination take hold.

In 1970 she and her family moved to Ogden, Utah.  The “City”, as seen thru the eyes of an eight year old.  Drawing, writing and music were her constant companions; not that she was ever really alone growing up in a house full of 18!  Imagination became a very good friend.

Chrystal desired an art scholarship to leave High School with but took a scholarship in track and field to Weber State University instead.  Being a WSU Wildcat was a great experience studying art and psychology... but Chrystal needed more.  Leaving College and giving up her scholarship she traveled a bit living in Germany and New York then back to Utah.  In Utah she met and married Mark Walker who has been a constant support in her artistic efforts.

Completing her ‘Healing Light’ series in the early 90’s was a joy.  That collection soon sold with the aid of a wonderful friend Anita Krotz.

In the fall of 2004 the Walker family had the opportunity to move to Southern California.  This was a marvelous change and exactly what Chrystal needed to find her art again.  Thanks to some wonderful friends and meeting L.  Croskey of  Thinkspace Gallery and Cannibal Flower.

Chrystal has been involved with The Peace Project  thru The Whole 9 Gallery in Culver City, CA.  Chrystal is a Community Builder, supporter and artist.

The Peace Project is a massive undertaking to change the world one village at a time.  The Whole 9 is a community of artists with a passion to promote change and support throughout our planet.  The Peace Project is the brainchild of Lisa Shultz.

Chrystal has taught fine art  at Mission Renaissance Fine Art Classes.  Currently taking a break from teaching to focus on creating again.
